Shen Dao has trained over 300 consultants worldwide, and now you have the chance to be a graduate of the Shen Dao Feng Shui (FS) diploma course. The course has been voted ‘best course' by the Evening Standard magazine, London.

The Shen Dao Institute has been in operation for over 30 years in the UK. We generally prefer our reputation to be spread by word of mouth which is why you may not have heard of us before (and yet we seem to be quite busy!). The Institute is a regulatory body which monitors the quality of its own consultants and deals with complaints. We try to ensure that their training is as comprehensive as possible. Shen Dao is constantly updating & researching to distinguish between fact & superstition.

The course covers: Compass & Form FS, 5 element diagnostics (derived from Chinese medicine), psychological profiling, basic counselling skills, mapping, domestic & business FS, interior design, Oriental versus Western philosophies/cultural beliefs, shamanism, dowsing, NLP and a variety of other related subjects. Whilst the primary aim of the course is to teach you how to be an effective consultant it also promises to be a (fun) journey of self-discovery.

The course comprises of 11 modules (plus an exam) of 2 days and one evening each. There is one module per month and students are given work to do in between each module.

The course covers both domestic and business Feng Shui, counselling skills, Five Element diagnostics, basic crystal uses, dowsing, gardens, shamanic methods, geopathic stress and much more. The course promises to be more than just an education in these topics - it is also a path of self-discovery and hopefully an immense amount of fun. Presuming you pass the exam you will receive a Shen Dao Institute Diploma and will then be eligible to become a Fellow of the Institute and do the two weekend advanced course.

Fees are payable in advance on a monthly basis and as a result there is no obligation to stay on the course if you feel that it is not what you are after. However, there is a substantial discount for those of you who can pay the full course fee in advance. It is not essential to have had a consultation prior to embarking on the course but advisable for a better understanding of the information. It is preferable to NOT read any books on the subject as the filled with misinformation and half truths (you are free to waste your money but reading them is more likely to confuse than aid you on the course).

It has been devised by Tibetan Master Harrison Kyng who has combined form and compass Feng Shui,Traditional Chinese medicine, western psychology, celtic crystal knowledge, western scientific research and shamanism. As a result the system operates on a multitude of levels and unlike other systems, is consistently useful. It often takes a long term commitment to fully benefit - though usually benefits can be seen early on. It needs to be maintained and revisited as ‘everything is constantly changing'.

Kym works internationally as a consultant and lecturer in Feng Shui, & also leads self-development courses/ meditation. Guest lecturers will also be contributing their particular areas of expertise to the course such as counselling and interior design.
